«Àlbum d'oblits» is the poetry collection by Francesc Valls-Calçada, published by Cossetània Edicions in paperback (48 pages, in Catalan).
The subtitle, «La filera que ens mena vers el cingle», evokes the fragility of life. The collection treats existence from a sceptical optimism: a journey of memories between evocation and oblivion. The verses celebrate small pleasures and love with humour, tenderness and a Mediterranean, Epicurean sensuality, without ignoring the inexorable end.
Subtitled «O la filera que ens mena vers el cingle», it won the Premi Comas i Maduell de Poesia 2009; it is number 32 in the Sinalefa collection.
For readers of poetry in Catalan who appreciate a Mediterranean, sensual and lucid view of life.
