«Accidente sin consecuencias» is a novel by author Vicki Baum, published by G.P. in paperback (285 pages, in Spanish).
The work starts from an almost trivial event —a car accident on a road— to follow three Berliners who are stranded in a provincial town; the episode alters local routine and reveals human weaknesses, but also understanding, compassion, and love.
It was translated into Spanish by Manuel Vázquez; its original title is «Zwischenfall in Lohwinckel». It was published in the Reno Collection (no. 492).
