Synopsis of Abolim la banca

«Abolim la banca» is the testimony of activist Enric Duran, published by Ara Llibres in 2009 in paperback (216 pages, in Catalan).

Enric Duran explains in the first person how in September 2008, through the newspaper «Crisi», he announced that he had expropriated 492,000 euros from 39 banks via 68 credit operations. He recounts his disappearance for six months, the motivations behind this act of civil disobedience, and proposes alternatives to the financial and consumer system.

The work bears the subtitle «Testimoni d'un activista que ha desafiat el poder»; first edition published on 17 March 2009 in Barcelona.
