«¡Abajo las armas!», subtitled «¿dónde está el pacifismo? 32 miradas incómodas», is a book of essays by Federico Mayor Zaragoza, in paperback.
Based on 32 short essays, this collective work reflects on the place of pacifism in today's world and on the weakness of social demands in curbing armed conflicts. The texts review the relevance of non-violence and diplomatic negotiation, and offer arguments for understanding why the culture of peace has not fully prevailed in international debate.
