«A Week in Winter» is the romantic novel by Marcia Willett, published by Headline in paperback (512 pages, in English).
Maudie Todhunter's decision to sell Moorgate, her country house on the edge of Bodmin Moor, provokes rejection from her family, especially Selina, her stepdaughter, with whom she has never got on. What no one foresees are the feelings the property awakens or the consequences that decision triggers.
Published in 2002, the Headline edition includes the subtitle 'A moving tale of a family in turmoil in the West Country'.
A read for those who enjoy romantic and family novels set in the English countryside, in the vein of Rosamunde Pilcher.
Marcia Willett was a British novelist who wrote women's fiction. She published 36 novels, including four as Willa Marsh.
