«A Mente Dual: Da Escravidao á Liberdade» is the philosophical essay by José Manuel Anacleto and Isabel Nunes Governo (CLUC, paperback, 82 pages, in Portuguese).
The book presents the mind as a bridge between the spiritual and the material and analyses its dual nature: superior and intuitive versus inferior and selfish. That duality leads to two paths, one of suffering and another of wisdom. It draws on Theosophy and the Universal Tradition, and includes the first Portuguese translation of Shankârâ's Âtma-Bodha.
First edition, published in 2010 by the Centro Lusitano de Unificação Cultural (CLUC), in the Aletheia collection.
Aimed at readers of philosophy, religion and spirituality, particularly those studying Theosophy and Vedanta.
