«A la pintura» is Rafael Alberti's poetry collection published in 1978 by Editorial Seix Barral in paperback (212 pages, in Spanish).
The book brings together poems born from Alberti's connection with painting: tributes to painters, verses on colour and sonnets dedicated to the tools of the craft. Each text adopts a form linked to the artist or theme it evokes, from the medieval composition for Giotto to the typographic freedom of the homage to Picasso.
Part of the series «Obras de Rafael Alberti», volume 7; first edition published in Barcelona in 1978.
