«500 Xistes Catalans De Bona Mena» is a collection of Catalan jokes by Jordi Garbella, published by Milla in hardback (235 pages, in Catalan).
The book brings together 500 jokes in Catalan, a selection of popular Catalan humour. The festive tone is set by the cover caricature: a smiling character inviting the reader in. These are short texts designed to entertain, tell and share, with no greater aim than to make people laugh.
1976 edition, Barcelona. Part of the Biblioteca Popular Catalana collection, Vell i Nou series, work 6.
For Catalan-speaking readers interested in popular humour and the cultural traditions of Catalonia.
