Synopsis of 21 personalidades dos séculos XX-XXI escolhem as vinte e uma personalidades portuguesas do milénio

This work brings together a unique selection where 21 prominent figures of the 20th and 21st centuries choose the figures from Portuguese history that most influenced them. Coordinated by José da Cruz Santos, with a preface by General António Ramalho Eanes and photographs by João Meneres, the book offers a deep perspective on Portugal's historical legacy through the eyes of illustrious contemporaries. The volume presents reflective texts on iconic figures, from King Afonso Henriques and Prince Henry the Navigator to names like José Saramago and Fernando Pessoa, exploring the relevance of these personalities in the construction of national identity throughout the millennium.
