«2012, la fine del mondo?» is Roberto Giacobbo's essay on end-of-the-world prophecies, published by Mondadori in hardback (195 pages, in Italian).
Roberto Giacobbo gathers prophecies and signs pointing to 21 December 2012: the Mayan calendar, the New Age, prophecies about the popes, the legends of Cambodia, the crystal skulls, the pyramids of Egypt and Nostradamus's last prophecy. He asks whether that date will bring catastrophe or rebirth.
The edition is from 2009 and includes bibliographic references at the end (pages 191-195).
Recommended for readers interested in mysteries, prophecies and theories about catastrophes.
