«1+1+1 Une Révolution» is the political and social essay by Alexandre Jardin, published by Grasset in paperback (178 pages, in French).
Alexandre Jardin recounts his citizen activism outside traditional politics: faced with the inertia of major reforms, he promotes initiatives such as «Lire et faire lire», which brings retirees together with teenagers to improve reading and prevent school failure, and advocates a more concrete and imaginative citizenship.
The work was originally published on 16 May 2002. The cover bears the subtitle «Pour tous ceux qui ne croient plus à la politique».
The book is aimed at those who distrust politics and seek examples of concrete citizen activism.
Alexandre Jardin is a French writer, film director and winner of the Prix Femina, 1988, for Le Zèbre.
