«Zooropa» is the studio album by U2, released on CD in 1993.
Zooropa delves into the electronic path U2 opened with Achtung Baby, combining alternative rock with synthesizers and industrial noises in a futuristic, dystopian atmosphere, with lyrics about technology, globalisation, and information overload.
Zooropa was U2's eighth studio album, produced by Flood, Brian Eno, and The Edge. Zooropa won the 1994 Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album.
