«Wildlife» is the album by Joe Morris, Petr Cancura and Luther Gray, released in 2009 by Aum Fidelity, on CD.
Wildlife is an experimental jazz recording by the trio Joe Morris, Petr Cancura and Luther Gray, entirely improvised. Morris, also a bassist, joins saxophonist Cancura (tenor and alto) and drummer Gray in four pieces of dense, organic texture, with a sound that feels welcoming despite its uncompromising character.
Second part of the triptych Joe Morris released on Aum Fidelity in 2009. It was issued on 14 July 2009 as a single CD.
Recommended for fans of contemporary jazz and improvisation seeking an accessible work within the more experimental jazz.
