«Waiting for Cousteau» is the electronic and ambient album by Jean-Michel Jarre, originally released in 1990 by Epic on CD.
Electronic and ambient work dedicated to Jacques-Yves Cousteau: Jean-Michel Jarre turns the ocean into a soundscape of wide atmospheres and unhurried developments. The album has four instrumental pieces, and the title track extends for over 46 minutes, like an underwater journey in itself.
The album, released on a single CD by Epic, reached number 1 in France and number 2 in the UK.
Suitable for those seeking contemplative electronic music and long-form pieces.
