«Vivaldi: Complete Concerti da Camera» is the compilation album by Antonio Vivaldi, released in 2012 by Brilliant Classics on CD.
This 3-CD box set brings together Antonio Vivaldi's complete chamber concertos, performed by the Collegium Pro Musica with Stefano Bagliano on flute, Pierluigi Fabretti on oboe, Federico Guglielmo on violin and Andrea Bressan on bassoon. Recorded in Italy between 2011 and 2012, the concertos showcase the variety of Vivaldi's Baroque style, with reduced ensembles and constant dialogue between soloists, and include pieces such as the Concerto in C major RV 87 and the Concerto in G minor RV 107.
The recording, in DDD format, was made between 17 and 22 October 2011 (CDs 1 and 2) and 24 and 26 January 2012 (CD 3) at the Oratory of San Rocco, in Grignano Polesine, Rovigo, Italy.
Recommended for those who enjoy Baroque chamber music and are looking for a complete set of Vivaldi's concerti da camera in an affordable Brilliant Classics edition.
