«Vier Jahreszeiten» (The Four Seasons) is the album by Antonio Vivaldi with the Ensemble Instrumental Bardon, released in 1999 by Sound Design, on CD.
This recording brings together the four violin concertos that Vivaldi dedicated to the seasons of the year. The Ensemble Instrumental Bardon offers a baroque reading of the score, in which each season has its own concerto and atmosphere, with the solo violin as the central element.
The CD went on sale on 3 May 1999 within the Sound Design catalogue and appears in the classical music category.
Suitable for classical music collectors and for those who prefer baroque versions performed by instrumental ensembles.
