«Veneno» is the salsa and timba album by José Luis Cortés and NG La Banda, released in 1998 by EMI and Caribe Productions Inc., on CD.
The album offers energetic, danceable timba, with «Verano Habanero» as a standout track and a solid repertoire of cuts. It doesn't reach the level of José Luis Cortés's earlier work with NG La Banda, but it's considered a strong release from his final period.
The CD release date was 8 September 1998; the album was issued as a single disc.
For fans of Cuban timba and salsa interested in José Luis Cortés's period with NG La Banda.
