«Unsung» is the experimental electronic rock album by Peter Hammill & Sonix, released on CD by Fie! Records in 2001.
The album brings together fourteen pieces that began as possible songs and became autonomous; Peter Hammill describes them as evocations of a foreign culture that resist being sung. It is the third instalment of an unconscious series of experimental works; among its tracks are 'Gated', 'West Pole' and 'Deliberate'.
A single CD with catalogue number FIE 9124, released in the UK; approximate running time 44 minutes.
For listeners of experimental rock and electronic music interested in the more abstract side of Peter Hammill.
