«Un himno al amor» is the album by Ana Salazar, originally released in 2003 by Decca, on CD.
Ana Salazar pays tribute to Édith Piaf by reinterpreting a selection of her classics in a flamenco style, with arrangements that cross French chanson with flamenco. It includes «La vida es rosa» («La vie en rose»), «Himno al amor» («Hymne à l'amour») and «No me arrepiento de nada» («Non, je ne regrette rien»).
The European CD edition consists of a single disc and includes versions sung in Spanish and French.
For lovers of flamenco and French chanson, and for those seeking a Hispanic approach to Édith Piaf's repertoire.
