«Two Steps Behind» is the CD single by British rock band Def Leppard, released in 1993 on the Bludgeon Riffola label.
The title track is an acoustic ballad in which Def Leppard shows a more subdued register than the group's usual hard rock. This two-track single also includes «Around the World in 80 Days», and the cover reproduces a photograph of the five band members in a coastal landscape.
The single, released in France, has catalogue code 862 792-2 and appeared in a cardboard sleeve with two songs. The release's styles fall within acoustic and hard rock.
