«True Stories» is the Talking Heads album, released by EMI on CD in 1990 and associated with David Byrne's film of the same name.
For this work, Talking Heads recorded danceable pop rock indebted to new wave, with incisive lyrics about everyday life in 1980s North America. The edition draws from the soundtrack of the film of the same name and closes with «Wild Wild Life (Long E.T. Mix)». The cover plays with red and white stripes, and the CD surface includes the listing of the ten tracks.
The CD includes a single extra track in addition to the album's nine songs: «Wild Wild Life (Long E.T. Mix)».
