«The Woods» is the album by Sleater-Kinney, released in 2005 by Houston Party Records and Code Word Nemesis, on CD.
The Woods is an alternative rock and garage rock record with a saturated production, intended to be listened to as a complete album rather than as individual songs. The lyrics cover very intense emotions, from sensuality to desperation, and the band conceives it as music that demands attention.
Album recorded at Tarbox Road Studios, with catalogue number HPR127 in this Spanish CD edition.
For listeners of alternative rock and garage rock who value albums with raw production and attentive listening.
