«The Waterboys» is the debut rock album by The Waterboys, released in 2002 by EMI on CD.
The Waterboys' debut album fuses rock, folk and Celtic echoes in nine original songs, including «December», «A Girl Called Johnny» and «Savage Earth Heart». This remastered edition adds seven extra tracks from the same period, such as «Gala» in its complete unedited version and the recovered «Where Are You Now When I Need You».
The album was originally released in July 1983 with eight songs. This 2002 CD reissue contains 15 tracks remastered by Mike Scott and Chris Blair at Abbey Road, with a duration of 76 minutes.
