«The Paname Papers» is the jazz album by Jon Urrutia Trio, released in 2018 by Errabal Jazz, on CD.
Pianist Jon Urrutia leads a trio with Damien Varaillon on double bass and Stephane Adsuar on drums, in jazz open to improvisation. The album alternates tracks such as «Dona Kubik», «Valse pour Nono» and «La Caravana Amarilla», where blues, swing and flamenco airs coexist with more abstract and minimalist compositions.
CD edition recorded at Meudon studios in November 2017 and released on 5 October 2018.
For fans of piano jazz and the trio format, particularly those seeking proposals with European roots and a blend of improvisation and diverse influences.
