«The Invisible History Of The Black Celt» is the album by Martin Okasili, released in 1997 by Warner on CD.
The album proposes a fusion of funk and soul with its own sonic identity, visible in tracks like 'Survival Technique', 'Troubles Will Pass' and 'Babylon State Of Mind'. The whole maintains a warm and expressive tone, close to nineties R&B.
The cover shows a photograph of a bare-chested man lying down, with hands behind his head and warm tones; the CD consists of a single disc.
Aimed at listeners of nineties R&B and soul who appreciate the fusion with funk.
