«The Exciting Terry Gibbs Big Band + Swing Is Here!» is the jazz compilation by Terry Gibbs on CD, released by Poll Winners in 2011.
The CD brings together two big band albums by Terry Gibbs originally released on vinyl LP: "The Exciting Terry Gibbs Big Band" and "Swing Is Here!". They are vibrant swing recordings, with brass, rhythm and arrangements characteristic of 1960s jazz, showing the energy of the vibraphonist at the head of his orchestra.
The edition is part of the Jazz Masterpieces series and includes the note "2 LPs on 1 CD"; both albums are marked as five stars by Down Beat.
For fans of big band jazz and those looking for classic compilations of the genre on a single CD.
