This CD recovers the complete, unedited session that Jim Hall's trio recorded in Los Angeles in January 1957, with Carl Perkins on piano and Red Mitchell on bass. It includes versions of 'Stompin' at the Savoy', 'Things Ain't What They Used to Be' and 'Stella by Starlight'.
The session was recorded on January 10 and 24, 1957; this remastered edition includes 16 tracks and 79 minutes of music.
