«Symphony No. 6 / Overture "1812"» is the classical music album by Tchaikovsky released by Mazur Media GmbH on CD.
The disc brings together two orchestral works by Tchaikovsky: Symphony No. 6 in B minor, Op. 74, known as the «Pathétique», and the Festival Overture «1812», Op. 49. The symphony is a piece of great emotional intensity within Romanticism; the overture is a grand and patriotic composition with a broad orchestral display.
