«Symphony No. 2 - Souvenir de Florence» is a classical music compilation by Tchaikovsky, released in 1992 on the Pilz label on CD.
It brings together two works by Tchaikovsky: Symphony No. 2 and Souvenir de Florence, performed by the Philharmonia Slavonica conducted by Conrad von der Goltz. Against the orchestral sonority of the symphony, Souvenir de Florence offers a more intimate atmosphere. It is a sober recording with a classical approach and balanced reading.
German edition with catalogue number 160 326.
For classical music fans and Tchaikovsky recordings enthusiasts looking for two of his works on a single CD.
