«Symphonies n.º 8 'Inachevée' y n.º 4 'Italienne'» is the classical music album by Herbert von Karajan, released in 1996 by Deutsche Grammophon on CD.
This CD combines two well-known symphonies: Schubert's No. 8, called 'Unfinished', and Mendelssohn's No. 4, called 'Italian'. Herbert von Karajan conducts both scores, brought together in a single recording to contrast two works of very different character within the symphonic repertoire.
CD edition of 1 disc, part of the Les 100 Classiques series from Deutsche Grammophon.
