«Stripped» is the rock album by The Rolling Stones, released by Virgin on CD in 1995.
The record features live, acoustic versions of Rolling Stones songs, along with a few covers of other artists, recorded in small venues and theatres during the 1995 tour. The repertoire includes classics such as «Street Fighting Man», «Wild Horses» and «Angie», performed with a rawer, more intimate approach than on their studio albums.
Single CD album released by the Virgin label. The printed booklet indicates live recordings made in 1992 and 1995 at venues such as the Paradiso in Amsterdam, the Brixton Academy, L'Olympia and the Tokyo Dome.
Will appeal to Rolling Stones fans and those seeking an acoustic, live take on their classic repertoire.
