«Streichquartette 17 und 19» is the album of Mozart string quartets performed by the Moyzes Quartet, released by Naxos on CD.
The CD brings together two Mozart string quartets performed by the Moyzes Quartet: No. 17, K. 458, known as «La caccia», and No. 19, K. 465, «Dissonance». The programme contrasts the character of a hunt with the harmonic tension at the start of the second quartet, within the classical chamber repertoire.
The edition consists of a single CD and the Naxos catalogue number is 8.550105.
Suitable for fans of classical music and chamber repertoire.
