A compilation of alternative country and Americana bringing together classics like Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson and Hank Williams alongside recent names such as Bright Eyes, M. Ward and Sparklehorse. The selection blends traditional country and dense atmospheres, with a tone close to the uncanny side of The Handsome Family, Smog and Giant Sand.

Recommended for listeners of alternative country and Americana who enjoy compilations mixing classics and contemporary sounds.
