«Stabat Mater» is the album by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi and Alessandro Scarlatti performed by Concerto Italiano and Rinaldo Alessandrini, released on CD.
This recording brings together the two versions of the Baroque Stabat Mater: Pergolesi's, for soprano, alto, strings and continuo, and Scarlatti's, with the same ensemble. Gemma Bertagnolli, Sara Mingardo, Concerto Italiano and Rinaldo Alessandrini perform movements such as «Stabat Mater dolorosa» and «Quando corpus morietur».
This edition of the album brings together 30 tracks, about 79 minutes of music, the reference OP 30406 and the Naïve label.
