«Spirit of Brazil» is the various artists compilation released in 2000 by Wagram Records as a double CD.
A double compilation that sets two perspectives on Brazilian music against each other: the first disc brings together an acoustic selection with performers such as Elza Soares, Gilberto Gil and Chico Buarque, while the second ventures into electronic music with remixes by Joaquin Claussell, Kerri Chandler and Masters at Work.
The compilation bears the subtitle «Acoustic & Electronic Vibes» and combines Latin jazz, electronica and Latin music.
For listeners interested in Brazilian music and in the blend of acoustic and electronic.
