«Symphonie N° 9 “La Grande” / “Rosamunde” Ouverture» is the album by Franz Schubert with the Georgian Festival Orchestra conducted by Jahni Mardjani, on CD.
The CD brings together Schubert's Symphony No. 9 in C major, known as «La Grande», and the overture «Rosamunde». The symphony is one of his most outstanding orchestral works, for its breadth and thematic richness; the overture, also very popular, is an orchestral piece of great melodic beauty.
Released on 6 December 1994 by Sony Classical (Sony BMG). CD with 1 disc.
