«Sinfonía n.º 3 'Eroica' y obertura 'Leonore III'» is Beethoven's album with the Berlin Philharmonic and Rafael Kubelik, released by Belart on CD.
The album brings together two orchestral works by Beethoven: Symphony No. 3 «Eroica», a broad piece of heroic character, and the overture «Leonore III», of great expressive force. Both are part of the composer's orchestral repertoire and are presented in a single recording.
Symphony No. 3 is performed by the Berlin Philharmonic with Rafael Kubelik; the overture «Leonore III» is performed by the Staatskapelle Dresden with Karl Böhm. The audio CD contains a single disc.
For classical music fans interested in Beethoven and in versions by the Berlin Philharmonic and the Staatskapelle Dresden.
