«Showbiz» is the debut album by British alternative rock band Muse, released in 1999 by Mushroom on CD.
Muse's debut album shows a blend of alternative rock, intensity and melodies that already point to the sound the band would develop later. The lyrics speak of frustration, anxiety and ambition, and standout tracks include "Sunburn", "Muscle Museum" and "Unintended".
The CD contains twelve songs, with a total running time of about 49 minutes. Production is by John Leckie, except for the tracks marked with an asterisk, produced by Paul Reeve and Muse.
