«Shot And Echo» is the album by Wim Mertens, released in 1993 on Gasa, on CD.
Album by Belgian composer Wim Mertens within modern classical, where electronics and classical tradition coexist. The pieces combine synthetic layers, repetitive structures and chamber textures, with a sober character. The cover, abstract and worn, with the title in blue on beige, accompanies that mix of academic neatness and experimentation.
The CD edition carries catalogue number 4509-92420-2 and was released in Europe (Gasa / Les Disques du Crépuscule).
Aimed at listeners of modern classical and electronics who appreciate instrumental music with chamber textures and sober atmospheres.
