«Shine Like It Does» is the album by Eileen Rose, released in 2000 by Rough Trade, on CD.
The album brings together ten tracks that move between country, folk and rock, with a singer-songwriter sound that the back-cover reviews compare to Patti Smith and Marianne Faithfull. Songs like «Rose», «Still in the Family» and «Trying to Lose You» are a good example of her range.
Originally released in the UK, it went on sale on 16 October 2000 and was issued with catalogue number RTRADECD004.
A record aimed at fans of country, folk and singer-songwriter rock, with echoes of Patti Smith and Marianne Faithfull.
