«Seventh Trip» is the album by Kroke, released in 2007 on Oriente Musik, on CD.
Seventh Trip reinterprets klezmer music from a modern perspective, blending jazz, pop and folk. The pieces, mostly instrumental, are built around viola, violin, flute, accordion, double bass, percussion and voice, combining the emotion of Central European tradition with virtuosic passages and dynamic arrangements.
It is Kroke's seventh album, originally released on 12 March 2007. The CD edition consists of a single disc and was published by Oriente Musik (catalogue number RIENCD63).
Aimed at listeners of folk and world music who want to explore klezmer from a contemporary perspective.
