«Schubert: Impromptus» is the classical music album by pianist Aldo Ciccolini, released on CD in 2008.
The disc brings together the two books of Impromptus that Schubert composed for solo piano: D.899 and D.935, performed by Aldo Ciccolini. They are eight short pieces of a lyrical and intimate character, with melodic and virtuosic passages, showing a spontaneous facet of the Viennese composer.
Single-disc edition, with cover texts in English.
For lovers of piano and chamber music, as well as for followers of Aldo Ciccolini.
