«Savage» is the album by Eurythmics, released in 1987 by RCA, on CD.
The record shows a more theatrical and darker side of the duo, with songs combining synth-pop, rock and dance. The lyrics address power and femininity with a provocative tone, and the production is innovative within the pop of its time. Tracks include «Beethoven (I Love to Listen To)» and «You Have Placed a Chill in My Heart».
The European CD edition of a record carries catalogue number PD 71555 and was pressed in West Germany by PDO.
For listeners of eighties pop rock and electronic music, as well as for those completing the Eurythmics discography.
