«Royal Astronomy» is the electronic album by µ-Ziq, released in 1999 by Hut Recordings and Virgin on CD.
The album is a sample of late-nineties British electronic music: over drum and bass rhythms and IDM structures, µ-Ziq crosses leftfield passages and experimental sounds, with synthetic atmospheres and shifts in intensity. The listening alternates moments with a danceable pulse and more abstract textures within the same track.
Single-disc CD edition for the UK and Europe, with catalogue number cdhut55.
For those interested in the abstract and rhythmic electronic music of the late nineties.
