«Route 66 & Other Great Kicks» is a compilation by the Nat King Cole Trio, released in 2000 on Blue Jackel, on CD.
The compilation brings together twenty recordings by Nat King Cole's trio, with his voice and piano accompanied by Oscar Moore on guitar and Johnny Miller on double bass. It includes tracks such as «Route 66», «On the Sunny Side of the Street» and «Dream a Little Dream of Me», within vocal jazz and swing.
Irving Abbot plays guitar instead of Oscar Moore on several tracks; Joe Comfort replaces Johnny Miller on double bass on the final track.
For fans of vocal jazz and classic swing, and for those seeking original recordings by Nat King Cole's trio.
