Este disco, el décimo de la serie de Cañizares, está dedicado al maestro Joaquín Rodrigo, quien abrió las puertas al mundo sinfónico con su Concierto de Aranjuez. El disco abre con 'Aranjuez, ma pensée', una composición creada por Rodrigo sobre la base de su célebre Adagio, con acompañamientos en forma de trémolo. La segunda pieza, 'Preludio al atardecer', es una obra inédita de Rodrigo, compuesta en 1926 y descubierta en 2018. El disco también incluye transcripciones para guitarra de 'Cuatro Estampas Andaluzas', 'Cuatro Piezas para Piano', 'Tres Danzas' y 'Cinco Piezas del Siglo XVI', para conmemorar el vigésimo aniversario de su fallecimiento.
