«Righteous» is the album by Dag, released in 1994 by Columbia on CD.
It blends funk, alternative rock and soul with a highly danceable rhythmic base and an optimistic attitude. The lyrics revolve around love, loss and the search for identity, without losing the festive energy. «Lovely Jane» is one of the standout tracks and represents well that more funky and infectious side of the record.
The European CD edition, released by Columbia, has a single disc and catalogue number 476515 2.
A record suitable for those who enjoy the danceable funk of the nineties mixed with alternative rock and soul.
