«Revisits the Goodman Years» is the album by Teddy Wilson Trio, released in 1987 by Storyville, on CD.
On this album, the Teddy Wilson Trio, with Ed Thigpen, recaptures the spirit of the Benny Goodman era. His piano brings a measured elegance to swing classics like 'S'Wonderful' and 'Air Mail Special', and the trio format allows a close dialogue between the instruments, between drawing-room sophistication and the energy of the big bands.
Catalogue number STCD 4046; edition released in Germany.
For fans of classic jazz and swing, especially followers of Benny Goodman and the piano of Teddy Wilson.
