«Pre-Millennium Tension» is the trip hop album by Tricky, released in 1996 by Universal-Island Records Ltd. on CD.
Tricky's second album, recorded between New York and Jamaica, captures a climate of anxiety and latent violence through dense productions and whispered lyrics. It combines hip hop beats with dark electronic textures and includes tracks such as «Christiansands», «Makes Me Wanna Die» and «Tricky Kid».
