«Play Really Bad Original Country Tunes» is the album by The Vandals, released in 1999 on CD.
The album is a parody of country music by The Vandals: on a punk rock base, the band adopts rural clichés and develops satirical lyrics with irreverent humour. Songs like «I'm America» and «My Girlfriend's Dead» show that mocking, carefree tone.
The album falls within rock, with styles such as alternative rock, country rock and punk. The CD edition contains a single disc and the songs are in English.
An option for punk rock fans with a sense of humour and for those who enjoy musical parodies of country and irreverent satire.
